Metropolitan Citi Grill in Wheeling

Incredibly good food! My girlfriend and I are in town on business and this place was suggested. We sat outside on a nice night, service was good but the food! Man the food! Everything we had was fantastic, higher end dishes at great prices. Will be back for sure.

Not sure why the mixed reviews on this place. This is a very nice establishment considering the lack of options in the Wheeling area. Restaurant is clean, server was very friendly. I had a steak sandwich with a house salad. Steak was cooked perfect and the salad was a mix of fresh greens. My girlfriend had a salmon salad and she enjoyed it as well. No complaints. Food and presentation were excellent even with my order being standard American fare. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food. If you're expecting a burger and fries or the like for $10, you will be disappointed. One thing that could really help would be remodeling of the restrooms.

Excellent service and food!

Had reservations for 12. We had a delightful waitress. The food and drinks deliciosos. It took over 3 hours for the meal. Our poor waitress had additional tables. One other waitress on duty. Wednesday, ok maybe typically slow. It was an uncomfotable evening.

Food was OK. Our soup was sitting there forever, our waitress just forgot to bring it to us, but she said that the chef was having a break. She also didn't bring us any water. Every part of the meal took forever, and we needed to go, so we asked our main meals to go. Our waitress just brought us our food on the plates anyway and then later brought boxes so we'd pack our food ourselves. My husband didn't ask for a refill, but he got a refill and they charged us for that. I wish we didn't tip. They pretend to be fancy but they are not. The smell is weird in there. We'll definitely never go back.

Came in for lunch and got the Asiago Steak Sandwich. Wow. Was absolutely blown away. Thick, high quality cut of steak cooked to perfection and was wonderfully complimented by the very flavorful Asiago cheese and creamy sauce. One of the best sandwiches I've had in a really long time.

Please update your times of operation!! The lady on the phone was nice but this was an inconvenience to our party.

Can't say enough...good stuff! Amazing food, quality drinks, awesome desserts and the perfect waitress. We have been visiting Wheeling all week and trying different restaurants. This is, hands down, the best food we have had... And we just went in for drinks and a snack. Everything we ordered was so good...we kept ordering! Thank you!

Great bread, great food. I ordered one of the special of the day, steak and shrimps, it was a bit salty, and personally I do not like rosemary, but others in my party enjoyed their food. The vegetables were fresh. Service was a bit slow.

It was delicious when I ate there years ago. Very attentive and great location. 😀

The best meal I've had in a long time! (Chicken Marsala) Affordable price, too. $43.00 including soft drink, large appetizer and tip.
